OLMUN

OLMUN

Dear MUN-Directors and future guests,

Distinguished delegates!

It is with deep regret that we have to announce the cancellation of this year’s conference. After conferring with the State Ministry of Lower Saxony and also considering our own responsibility and the health of every attendee, we have no choice but to take this unfortunate measure.

We hope you understand that the health and safety of everyone is our number one priority. Just a few weeks ago we thought that our twentieth anniversary would not be affected by the on-going pandemic, but as the infection rates are rapidly increasing, our hopes and dreams had to be aligned to the situation.

However, we do not want our work as well as your efforts that went into organizing the event to go to waste: Your interest in international politics and the United Nations should not be affected all too much. Therefore, we will modify our previously announced Poster Challenge and upload further information and a guide in the next couple of days. I will keep you posted on any developments.

During the next few months, we intend to publish special content via our social media channels which are supposed to guide you through the development of OLMUN right from the beginning to where we are right now.

If you require any assistance or advice, feel free to get in touch with us.

We urge you to stay indoors as much as possible, wash your hands and keep to social distancing norms so that we can all stay healthy and have an unforgettable OLMUN 2021 (June 22 – June 25)!

Sincerely,

The OLMUN Secretariat
